1TANK: ONE PITCH, INFINITE OPPORTUNITIES

What is 1Tank?

 

1Tank is a pitch competition that offers startups a platform to showcase their innovative ideas to a panel of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), angel investors, and venture capitalists (VCs). This competition is tailored to help startups secure funding between $10,000 and $250,000.

Eligibility Criteria

Startup Stage: Early-stage startups, preferably from seed to Series A.

Industry Focus: Sector Agnostic.

SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION

Eligibility to enter the competition is required. The organizers will contact you if your application meets the criteria.

The judging panel will assess startups based on the following criteria:

Innovation & Disruption: The uniqueness and potential impact of the product/service.

Market Potential: The startup’s market size, scalability, and growth prospects.

Team Strength: The expertise, experience, and cohesion of the founding team.

Business Model: Revenue model, customer acquisition strategy, and unit economics.

Pitch Presentation: Clarity, persuasion, and engagement during the pitch.

Prizes

Funding: Opportunity to secure $10,000 to $250,000 in investment.

Mentorship: Post-event mentorship and guidance from the investor panel.

Networking: Direct connections with leading investors.

COMPETITION STRUCTURE

Preliminary Round

Online review of submitted applications.

60 startups will be shortlisted based on the panel's investment thesis.

The initial round of pitching will be conducted online in the first week of October 2024.

12 startups will be selected to proceed to the final pitching round.

Finals

In-person pitching at Expand North Star 2024.

Finalists will pitch on stage, followed by a Q&A session and negotiations with the investor panel.

On-the-spot funding commitments will be announced on stage.
